This refurbishment project involved the complete removal of the existing asbestos roof and re-sheeting with new high-performance composite panels, improving both the safety and thermal efficiency of the building. Works also included the removal of the redundant roof turret and associated infill.

Works Included:

• Removal of existing asbestos roof cladding: safely stripped in full compliance with health and safety regulations
• Removal of roof turret: dismantled and cleared from site
• Purlins and accessories: installed to infill the turret opening
• New roof cladding: 115mm Kingspan KS1000RW composite panels in Goosewing Grey
• Ridge liner: installed in White
• Ridge flashing: 0.7mm plastisol-coated metal, Goosewing Grey.
• Eaves, barge, and gutter flashings: 0.7mm plastisol-coated metal, Sapphire Blue.
• Downpipes: 100mm diameter aluminium, powder-coated in Sapphire Blue.
