This refurbishment project involved the over-cladding of the existing roof and gable ends to improve thermal efficiency and increase natural daylight transmission throughout the building.

Works Included:

• Removal and installation of rooflights: Removal of 30 existing rooflights and installation of 30 new rooflights 
• Roof bar system: 180mm Ashgrid  bar system with 180mm roof insulation roll
• New roof over-cladding: 0.7mm CR32 (or equivalent), plastisol-coated in Merlin Grey
• Rooflight trim flashings: 0.7mm White liner
• Removal of asbestos: Safe removal of asbestos cladding to one gable end
• Double and single skin gable cladding: CW32 panels, plastisol-coated in Merlin Grey
• Flashings (ridge, eaves, barge, drip, corner, window, door, gutters): 0.7mm plastisol-coated sheet, Merlin Grey
• Downpipes: 100mm diameter aluminium, powder-coated in Merlin Grey

This project delivered a safer, more energy-efficient, and visually enhanced building, ensuring long-term performance and compliance with modern standards.
